Erve Kampboer is a well-loved village community center in Geesteren that hosts weekly activities—like painting, choir, cards, bridge, and world dance—and organizes weekend rentals for family gatherings and events.; The client wanted a website that clearly communicates what’s going on, allows venue rental inquiries, and fosters openness and inclusivity for the local community.
The main challenge was designing a site that conveys warmth and community, while clearly presenting a dynamic schedule of recurring activities, one-off events, and rental options. The site needed to provide easy access to the venue’s calendar and contact information, reflect the welcoming, multifunctional nature of the center, and remain easy to maintain for non-technical administrators.
I delivered a friendly, content-driven website featuring a clear activity calendar and categorized sections for weekly programs and weekend rentals. Highlighted were community staples—the painting club, pop choir, card nights, bridge, and family events—to give a living sense of the place’s vibrancy. The site includes straightforward contact and booking options, integrated event notices (such as for a whiskey tasting or carnival), and ensures it’s easy to update. The design is responsive and inviting, reinforcing Erve Kampboer’s identity as "the house of and for everyone."
